Halloween 2009

For Halloween this year we went to the annual Emmett's Halloween party at my parents house. Below are some pics of all of us before the party started. I was Michael Jackson, Tayeson was Thomas the Tank, Josh was 1/2 of broke-back mountain (that is what we were calling him cause he was a party pooper & wouldn't dress up), my dad was Trace Adkins, my mom was Ugly Betty, Brett was a nerd (totally fit him ;)) & Brandie was a sexy pirate. We had a ton of fun! Thanks mom & dad for the fun party!

Winter is coming....

So it is October 27th & it is snowing. I was hoping it would wait until after Halloween so Tayeson don't freeze trick or treating, hopefully it will warm up for Thomas the Tank (that is what Tayeson is dressing up as) to get some candy. I knew it was coming because the weather men kept saying it was coming. They have said it a few other times & it never had, so I didn't believe them. When we woke up this morning guess what? There was snow (2-4 inches) on our grass. I couldn't believe it. When Tayeson & I left the house we went outside & he was SO excited to see the snow, me on the other hand was not. He told me that he wanted to build a snowman so I told him if it kept snowing that he could maybe build one at Grandma Kim's or at our house when we got home. I was dreading the drive, as it was the first snow storm of the year. I was surprised that all the Utah drivers actually remembered how to drive in the snow. I got to work on time & didn't see any slide offs or accidents. If I get my camera fixed, I will post pics of the snowman, if we get to make one.

New Hobby

So my friend knows how to make the hip watch bands & she taught me how to make them. I have only made 5, but it was fun doing it. We got together while my guncles were in town & we (Heather, Me, Brandie & Jamie) made them. Here are some pics of the ones I made. The pics aren't great as I had to use my cell phone. There is a red & brown, purple & black, green & white, red & black & a pink one for Breast Cancer. Let me know what you think!

Craft Class- October 24th

Craft Class

My mom has opened her own business & does craft classes once a month. I love when that day comes. She is so crafty & comes up with the CUTEST ideas. Here are a few things we have made (I didn't make the spider, but it is cute). Circus Fun

For Tayeson's 3rd birthday, my sister & her husband got him circus tickets. She invited the whole family to go, to have a fun filled day at the ESA. I thought it would scare him, but he loved it...so did his Dad (Josh has never been).

Trip to Chicago

Josh & Tayeson got to take a trip to see Aunt Jackie in Chicago. Jackie joined the US NAVY this year & graduated boot camp back in March & I got to go then. We try to visit her as much as we can as we miss her & she misses us. They had a blast the few days they were out there, but it was hard to say the goodbyes as always. WE MISS YOU AUNT JACKIE!
